Home Groups at RBC

We love it when we meet together as a whole Church family, but recognise that sometimes coming to a larger meeting can be a scary prospect!

That's just one of the reasons why we provide plenty of opportunities for smaller groups to get together during the week. These small groups or 'Home Groups' meet in homes (see what we did there...) around the Medway Towns on either a Wednesday or Thursday evening, and in a nutshell they're a little slice of church life that gets together outside of our Sunday meetings.

Meeting in a smaller group gives us the opportunity to explore what the Bible teaches together in an informal way where there's plenty of time for discussion and debate, usually fueled by a steady supply of tea and biscuits. We'll also talk about what's going on in each others' lives so we can support each other practically, and think about some of the wider issues that Christians face locally and around the world. We'll usually pray together and for each other too.

So, in short, Home Groups are a great way to get your sleeves rolled up an involved in church, build friendships, and perhaps contribute to Bible study and prayer in a way that you might feel uncomfortable doing (at first) in a larger meeting.
