Be part of our Community Art Exhibition for Medway Arts Festival 2024
The Moat House Coffee Shop is a community space in the heart of Rochester which seeks to support different groups in the Medway area. Having successfully worked with artists for the Medway Open Studios and Arts Festival (MOSAF) in previous years, for 2024 we plan to be part of it again with a Community Art Exhibition. The 9-day festival runs from 6th to 14th July 2024.
Why join us?

Display up to three pieces of 2D artwork in our coffee shop

As part of a group show, your work will be seen by a larger number of people

The shop is open every day of the festival on a busy part of Rochester High St

There will also be space for each artist to sell cards and prints

Chat to visitors or show some of your creative techniques

Guidelines
-
All work must be 2D or able to be hung safely

All work must be your own original work or limited edition pieces

If selected, all artists will be asked to pay £10 towards our joint listing as a venue in the Art Trail Guide (however you are encouraged to also place your own individual listing)

Sales will be processed by our shop staff. 15% commission taken on original pieces, 10% commission on cards and prints

Please be aware that The Moat House Coffee Shop is owned by Rochester Baptist Church and runs with a Christian ethos. All works entered must be suitable for public viewing by all ages
If you are interested in being part of our Community Arts Exhibition for MOSAF 2024, please download and complete this Word Doc Form then email it to Lydia at moathousebooks@gmail.com along with 3 photographs of your typical artwork by Wednesday 31st January. All entrants will be contacted by Friday 9th February.

A meeting for all invited artists will take place on Saturday 24th February.
