Welcome to

Carols by Candlelight

Thanks for coming to our Carols by Candlelight service

We're really pleased you were able to join us for our Carol Service this evening - hopefully you got a warm welcome, enjoyed the singing and mince pies, and it's helped to get you ready for Christmas!

This afternoon we focused on the excitement, anticipation and joy that the birth of Jesus Christ can bring us. Thinking about that can often raise more questions than answers, and we're very happy to discuss anything you've heard tonight, or other questions you may have about Jesus - all you need to do is get in touch

We're pleased to share three things with you here that might be of interest...

This 'Anti-Santy Ranty' video is a quick and thought-provoking comparison between God and Santa.

Perhaps more similarities than you may have expected in some of the ways we think about both of them. It certainly caught our attention and made us think...

We think it's brilliant - hope you do too!

'The Dog That Stole Christmas'. Do you have a few minutes to sit down with your favourite drink and a mince pie? If so why not make yourself comfy and read “The Dog Who Stole Christmas”?

This festive tale will explain more on the meaning and significance of Jesus’ birth. Click the image to open.

Finally, if you're interested in coming to any of our other services over the Christmas period, you can find details here. You can also find out more about our Church, and the activities we're involved in to support our local community in this short leaflet. Click this image to find out more!

Thanks again for joining us today, and please don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions - we look forward to hearing from you.

From all at Rochester Baptist Church:

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
